Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Specialist to join our AOA Sales Team. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to our sales team, assisting with various sales related activities, and creating relationships with some of our elite customers. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the orthodontic industry.  This role is based on site in Sturtevant and will require someone in office at 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with your AOA Strategic Accounts Representative and Ormco Field Representatives to onboard new accounts and maintain existing accounts.
  • Grow a defined territory of AOA accounts that are aligned with your Strategic Accounts Representative and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets as determined by the organization.
  • Build relationships with a set number of Elite customers within your territory.
  • Qualify and proactively call on leads gathered by AOA Communications and Marketing Team.
  • Maintain communication with office/staff during key stages of the initial onboarding process.
  • Initiate and carry out call campaigns based on key areas of focus determined by both the General Manager and  Sales and Marketing Manager
  • Work directly with the AOA Production Team to determine value based solutions to accounts who are expressing concerns with product quality/consistency.
  • Maintain call block schedule to maintain consistent communication with both accounts and Ormco Sales Team
  • Maintain new business funnel to ensure maximum visibility of high valued targets.
  • Facilitate or co-host Webinars designed to introduce new products and/or services.

Job requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
  • Proven experience in a sales support or similar role
  • Knowledge of orthodontic products, terminology, and industry trends is highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • CRM experience is a plus
