Envista is seeking a dynamic Continuous Improvement Director / EBS (Envista Business Systems) Leader to drive transformative continuous improvement across our global Commercial sales and Operations organizations in JAPAC, with a primary focus on Commercial execution. This is a high potential role ideal for a results driven change agent who thrives in fast moving, matrixed environments and enjoys shaping the way an organization operates and grows.
Envista Business Systems (EBS) is central to how we drive performance, scale improvement, and build capability. This leader will accelerate Lean thinking, Kaizen culture, strategy deployment, and cross‑functional problem solving—strengthening our operational foundation and enabling long‑term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute high‑impact continuous improvement initiatives across Operations (primary) and Commercial teams (secondary), delivering measurable performance results.
Coach leaders and teams in Lean, Kaizen, structured problem solving, and other Continuous Improvement methodologies to build a sustainable culture of improvement.
Partner with operations and commercial leaders to prioritize opportunities and deploy tools that improve process capability, cost, customer experience, and productivity.
Facilitate transformation workshops, Kaizen events, value‑stream analyses, and strategy deployment sessions.
Influence effectively across senior leaders and cross‑functional teams—managing up, across, and within a global matrixed organization.
Track, measure, and communicate results using data‑driven insights and clear business storytelling.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on operational strategy, performance optimization, and business systems maturity.
Job requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business with 10+ years of relevant experience with strong applied continuous improvement leadership experience
7+ years leading significant continuous improvement efforts across operations or cross‑functional environments
5+ years in a related roles such as Industrial Engineer, Lean Promotions Officer, Value Stream Leader, Process Improvement Leader, or similar role driving structured improvement
Fluent in English.
Deep experience with Lean, Kaizen, VSM, root‑cause problem solving, and/or structured business systems (EBS, DBS, TPS, Shingo, etc.).
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and coach teams without direct authority.
You thrive in dynamic environments, manage competing priorities with confidence, and operate effectively without close supervision.
You understand end‑to‑end business operations and can connect process improvement to broader strategic and financial outcomes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to coach, challenge, and inspire leaders and frontline teams.
Ability to travel globally.
