Job description

The Sales Executive, Software is responsible for driving adoption of DEXIS software solutions by engaging existing customers and helping them transition to the DTX Studio platform. This role identifies opportunities within the current customer base, develops customer relationships, and promotes the value of software solutions through consultative sales conversations conducted primarily by phone and virtual channels.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Customer Support to support customer success and contribute to software subscription growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Expand DEXIS software business within an assigned territory by promoting and enrolling existing customers into DTX Studio subscriptions.
  • Identify sales opportunities through customer data, CRM tools, and business systems, including Microsoft Dynamics and SAP.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales Operations, to develop target account lists, messaging, and standard processes.
  • Conduct outbound outreach and follow-up activities with prospective and existing customers through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and proactive account management.
  • Educate customers on software functionality, features, and benefits to support adoption and ongoing subscription success.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, opportunities, and activities within CRM systems.
  • Achieve established sales goals and performance objectives.
  • Participate in product, sales, and professional development training as required.
  • Travel up to 5% as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of inside sales, software sales, or customer-facing sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience generating or developing sales opportunities through prospecting, customer outreach, or account development activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives in a quota-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Job requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling dental technology or dental software solutions.
  • Experience with DEXIS products or related dental imaging software.
  • Experience using CRM and ERP platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics and SAP.
  • Experience managing software subscription sales or SaaS-based solutions.
  • Experience working in a healthcare, dental, or medical technology environment.
