Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through daily interactions.
  • Engage in proactive collection activities via telephone calls, emails, reminders, and account statements.
  • Monitor customer accounts and perform daily collection activities on overdue payments.
  • Prepare collection arrangements, payment plans, or extended terms as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and process adjustments in line with company policies.
  • Process customer payments and provide support with payment posting clarifications.
  • Collaborate on refund processes when required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records, including portfolio clean-up, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Review, validate, and recommend release of customer orders on credit hold in accordance with Envista credit policy.
  • Partner with Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, and Customer Service teams to review customer status and support new order decisions.
  • Drive actions to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and reduce bad debt exposure.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and additional duties as assigned.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • College-level education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (e.g., Technical Degree or equivalent).
  • 2–4 years of experience in similar customer-focused or collections roles.
  • Credit collection certification or qualification is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other relevant applications.
  • Strong ERP system experience, with SAP or Oracle proficiency required.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Trust IT) preferred.

Critical Skills/Technical Know-How:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work in fast‑paced shared‑service environments, managing a high‑volume portfolio.
  • Familiarity with automated dunning/collection tools (HighRadius, GetPaid, or similar).
  • Understanding of the credit collections process and use of collection automation tools is desirable

Conditions

  • This position is Hybrid, 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.
  • Envista Holdings in Costa Rica is in Heredia, La Aurora, Ultrapark 1.
