Job description

Position Summary

The Sr. Marketing Manager, Orthodonics will own the DEXIS orthodontic marketing strategy from development through execution and optimization, working in close partnership with our sister operating company. This role will translate business, customer, and market insights into differentiated positioning, compelling messaging, and integrated content that brings a strategic orthodontic growth initiative to market, strengthens brand awareness, drives adoption, and supports commercial growth. The Senior Marketing Manager will lead cross-functional execution and partner with clinical thought leaders and industry influencers to create credible, customer-centered stories and programs for orthodontic audiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Orthodontic Marketing Strategy:

  • Own and lead the North American orthodontic marketing strategy for a strategic growth initiative in partnership with our sister operating company, aligning priorities, launch plans, and execution across both organizations.
  • Translate market, customer, competitive, and clinical insights into a clear roadmap that supports awareness, demand generation, customer adoption, and commercial growth.

Messaging and Positioning:

  • Develop differentiated positioning, messaging frameworks, value propositions, and audience personas that connect the initiative to the needs of orthodontists, dental professionals, partners, and patients.

Cross-Company and Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to the sister operating company, establishing shared objectives, roles, timelines, governance, and ways of working for the initiative.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, clinical education, communications, digital, regional marketing, and agency partners to deliver a cohesive go-to-market approach.
  • Partner with sales and commercial teams to translate the strategy into effective sales enablement, market activation, customer adoption, and growth programs.

Integrated Campaign Development and Execution:

  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, web, events, education, public relations, and sales enablement, ensuring consistent messaging and strong execution across every customer touchpoint.

Content and Storytelling:

  • Create a content strategy and editorial roadmap spanning customer stories, clinical use cases, thought leadership, video, articles, social content, webinars, presentations, and sales tools. Lead content development from concept and brief through review, production, launch, and optimization.

Expert and Influencer Strategy:

  • Build and manage a compliant expert and influencer strategy, including clinical thought leader and industry influencer identification and selection, engagement models, content activation, relationship management, governance, and performance measurement. Partner with these experts to deliver authentic education, advocacy, and storytelling.

Performance Measurement and Program Management:

  • Define KPIs, monitor campaign and content performance, share actionable insights, and continuously optimize the strategy. Manage budgets, agencies, timelines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure high-quality work is completed on time.

Job requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is required; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated success owning strategy and leading integrated execution; ental, orthodontic, medical device, or healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in messaging, positioning, content strategy, content creation, and brand storytelling across multiple channels and audience types.
  • Experience developing expert, thought-leader, advocacy, or influencer programs, including partner selection, governance, activation, relationship management, and performance measurement.
  • Proven ability to influence across organizations, align diverse stakeholders, and lead complex initiatives through collaboration rather than direct authority.
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and creative-brief development skills, with strong judgment and attention to detail.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to define success measures, interpret performance, and turn insights into action.
  • Self-directed, curious, and highly organized, with the ability to balance strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, sales team members, customers, and the general public.

Physical Demands:

  • The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, communicate, and operate a computer and telephone.
  • Work is primarily conducted in a remote or standard office environment with moderate noise.

Travel/Location:

  • Up to 20% overnight travel to customers, trade shows, dealer meetings, clinical expert engagements, meetings with our sister operating company, and other business-related events.
  • The role would require someone in the office (Quakertown, PA) four days per week
