Job description
Full professional responsibility for production processes in the surface treatment department of the Prosthetics line. including – trainings, process improvement, process optimization, etc.
Implant Line Process Ownership
Manage and optimize all production processes for prosthetics, including:
Manage and optimize all production processes for implants, including: Prosthetics Degreaser, Anodizing, Aging, Passivation, Hardening, Trommels.
Ensure process stability, quality, and compliance across all stages
Develop and maintain work instructions, validation protocols, and training materials for operators
Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and process control.
Work with the maintenance department - problem solving, training.
Engineering Project Leadership
Lead engineering projects within the Prosthetics line, from concept through implementation
Drive transfer projects from R&D to production, in alignment with the engineering manager’s directives
Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver technical solutions
Identify and integrate new technologies and equipment to improve performance and efficiency
Backup Responsibility
Serve as backup to the Implants Line Process Engineer, providing support and continuity when needed
Job requirements
B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering – required
Experience in medical device manufacturing – preferred
Strong understanding of chemical processes, cleaning systems, surface treatments, and packaging
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&ID diagrams
Proven experience in leading engineering projects and technology integration
Independent and self-driven work style
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Strong cross-functional communication
Ability to train and guide production teams
Project management and ownership mindset
Critical Experience:
Experience of at least two years in the medical industry - medical device / pharma / medicines, etc
