Job description
PURPOSE – in 3-4 sentences, briefly describe the overall purpose of the role, i.e. why the role exists
Shift Manager role is to lead, plan, and take full responsibility for the daily production, performance, and well‑being of the assigned group. The role is responsibility for production targets and regulations regarding safety, quality, volume, and delivery are met through effective daily management and strong ownership of the team. Close collaboration with other groups and cross‑functional teams within the factory area is essential to resolve issues quickly, minimize downtime, and ensure a stable and efficient production flow.
As a manager, the role acts as a role model, drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.
ACCOUNTABILITIES – describe role accountabilities/responsibilities, i.e. what the role does. Should cover the following:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE – Functional/technical competencies specific to the role and required to perform the role
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: (what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education)
- Examination from secondary school
- Good Multicheck results in the relevant topics
- 1-3 years experience from leadership
- Key factors of a leader: Honesty, Ability to Delegate, Communication, Confidence, Commitment, Positive Attitude, Creativity, Intuition, Ability to Inspire.
- Trained to lead small project yellow belt
Critical Skills/technical know-how: (what the role holder must be able to do)
- Managing people
- Communicative
- MS office

- Interpersonal skills
- Pro-active, solution-driven
- Lean/six sigma
Critical Experience:
Experience of medical device is an advantage
Professional experience of manager 1-3 years is an advantage
