Job description
The Cash Application & Payment Specialist ensures the accurate and timely processing of all bank statement transactions, especially incoming payments, and the application of these payments to customer accounts. Additionally, the role involves resolving payment discrepancies, collaborating with other departments, and participating in monthly closing activities. This role is also responsible for processing outgoing payments.
Responsibilities:
Daily basis: accurately processing and posting all bank statement transactions, managing transactions and clearing/CIT accounts.
Weekly: customer direct debits, vendor payment runs and ad hoc manual payments.
Monthly: Cash and cash equivalents reconciliations.
Collaboration in meeting internal audit requirements.
Verifying the accuracy of entered data.
Other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Job requirements
High school education with a diploma, University degree in economics or related field
Experience in finance and administration is an advantage
Good communication and organizational skills
Active knowledge of English, another language is an advantage
