The Ormco Senior Product and Portfolio Manager is accountable for the strategy, development, launch, and lifecycle performance of assigned categories across Ormco’s orthodontic solutions portfolio, which may include fixed appliances, hybrid treatment solutions, and clear aligners. Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, this senior individual contributor combines portfolio, product management, and commercial expertise to drive innovation, optimize the portfolio, strengthen customer adoption, and improve revenue, profitability, and NPVI. The role converts market, clinical, and customer insights into prioritized solutions and influences functions and regions to deliver successful commercialization. Portfolio assignment will reflect business needs and the selected candidate’s experience and may support Ormco’s Core and Hybrid solutions or the Spark clear aligner portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Business Unit Leader to set portfolio priorities, investment recommendations, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Own the global product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle plan for an assigned category or platform, including portfolio rationalization and phase-in/phase-out decisions aligned with commercial and financial goals.
  • Synthesize market trends, competitive intelligence, VoC research, and regional needs into prioritized product, clinical workflow, and customer-experience requirements.
  • Develop data-driven business cases and recommendations that define customer value, investment requirements, expected returns, and measures of success.
  • Lead product development from concept through commercialization, coordinating R&D, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Finance, Commercial, Global Marketing, software, digital product, and user-experience partners as applicable.
  • Engage clinicians and key opinion leaders to incorporate clinical evidence, treatment workflows, and customer insights into product and portfolio decisions.
  • Define differentiated value propositions, segmentation, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment between product roadmaps and commercial execution.
  • Support sales training and regional campaigns as the portfolio subject-matter expert, maintaining continuity between the product value proposition and market execution.
  • Build launch forecasts, adjust demand plans to minimize back orders, and monitor revenue, profitability, adoption, retention, forecast accuracy, launch performance, and NPVI.
  • Present portfolio reviews, roadmap recommendations, business cases, risks, and performance updates to the Business Unit Leader and senior stakeholders, driving decisions through clear analysis and influence.
