Job description

This is a temporary position with a minimum six (6) month commitment and potential for extension based on business needs.

Job Summary:

The Product Specialist will support Product Management by managing product labeling updates across multiple platforms and SKUs while contributing to broader portfolio execution, product lifecycle activities, and cross-functional project coordination. This role ensures accurate, compliant, and customer-friendly labeling for dental products, while also supporting market analysis, product launch readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Product Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Quality, and Commercial teams to help drive portfolio performance and customer-focused execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management & Portfolio Support

  • Support day-to-day product management activities across assigned restorative and endodontic product portfolios, including SKU maintenance, product information updates, and lifecycle coordination.
  • Assist with product launches, line extensions, rationalization efforts, and commercialization readiness by coordinating inputs across Marketing, Regulatory, Operations, and Sales teams.
  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, competitive activity, and market trends to help identify opportunities for portfolio improvement and growth.

Labeling & Artwork Management

  • Coordinate updates to product labels, IFUs, and packaging artwork in alignment with regulatory and branding requirements.
  • Work with design teams to implement changes such as color coding, variable content updates, and layout improvements to reduce customer confusion
  • Maintain label master files and ensure version control across product lines.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure all labeling changes comply with MDR and FDA regulations.
  • Support RA submissions and documentation for label changes, including 6012 forms and ECO approvals
  • Track and archive label samples and artwork revisions for audit readiness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with Merida and Pomona teams for label implementation and sample reviews
  • Partner with Regulatory and PM teams to streamline re-labeling projects and support product launches.
  • Assist in managing labeling updates for Endodontics and Rotary portfolios, which have extensive SKU complexity

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize labeling processes.
  • Support Kaizen initiatives and action plans related to labeling workflows

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in labeling coordination, regulatory documentation, or product marketing.
  • Familiarity with medical device labeling requirements (MDR, FDA).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and label management systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in dental or healthcare industry.
  • Understanding of ECO and RA documentation workflows.
