JOB SUMMARY:  

This position is based on‑site and requires four days per week in the office to support collaboration and business needs.

Reporting to the Site Leader, the Envista Business System Leader (EBSL) drives adoption and sustainment of EBS activities at the Costa Rica Shared Services site. This role fosters a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and structured problem-solving through Policy Deployment, Daily Management, and kaizen activities. Partnering across functions, the EBSL delivers measurable results, enhances processes, and builds organizational capability.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive Performance by leading EBS deployment aligned to strategic priorities
  • Lead the improvement of site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including productivity, quality, service, cost, etc. while ensuring an effective Daily Management
  • Build a continuous improvement culture by teaching and embedding structured problem-solving at the site, including coaching teams to identify waste, solve root causes, and sustain improvements
  • Lead Kaizen activity by planning, executing, and driving the sustainment of the Kaizens
  • Partner with leadership daily by advising on process design, operating models, and prioritizing high-impact improvement initiatives
  • Develop capability within the organization through ongoing training and coaching of the leadership team to build EBS skills and maturity across the organization
  • Collaborate across Envista to standardize best practices and support enterprise EBS initiatives

Job requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:   

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in engineering, operations or related field, MBA preferred)
  • 2-5 years related experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient in Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and basic pivot tables
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 5-10%
  • This is an in‑office role and requires work on-site during core business hours

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with Lean, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and root-cause problem solving
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate analysis and insights in a clear, organized manner, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive change in a matrixed organization
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment and able to stay organized to meet deadlines
  • Strong sense of urgency with intellectual curiosity and ambition to grow your career with a global company
  • Experience in Shared Services, Finance Operations, or Commercial support environments strongly preferred
