European Sales Director

Job Description:

At Orascoptic, we empower dental and medical professionals to see better, work smarter, and perform at their best. As a pioneer in loupes, headlights, and advanced visualization solutions, Orascoptic has built a reputation for innovation, quality, and customer‑centric design trusted by clinicians around the world.

As part of Envista, a global leader in dental solutions, Orascoptic is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our commercial presence, accelerate market expansion, and lead a high‑impact sales organization in a dynamic, fast‑growing region.

As Director of European Sales, you will lead Orascoptic’s commercial growth across Europe, with full ownership of revenue performance, market expansion, and customer engagement across both direct sales teams and distribution partners. You will build and lead a high‑performing, regionally aligned sales organization—balancing strategic direction with disciplined, hands‑on execution.

You will own the European commercial model end to end, including direct sales effectiveness, dealer and channel performance, key account development, and expansion into priority markets. A key focus of your role will be accelerating Orascoptic’s shift toward a stronger direct commercial presence where it creates the most value, while continuing to strengthen and optimize the dealer network across the region.

In this role, you will partner closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Envista Business System (EBS) teams to ensure strong alignment with global strategy, consistent execution, and delivery of financial and operational targets. As the senior commercial leader for Europe, you will drive both near‑term results and long‑term strategic growth, shaping the future of Orascoptic’s presence across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Strategy & Regional Leadership

  • Define and execute Orascoptic’s European commercial strategy aligned with global objectives.

  • Set market priorities, channel mix, and growth plans across key European countries.

  • Lead annual operating planning, including revenue targets, resource allocation, and expansion initiatives.

  • Drive KPI discipline, performance management, and policy deployment.

Direct Sales Leadership

  • Build and develop a high‑performing European direct sales organization.

  • Establish standard sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting rigor.

  • Drive field effectiveness through coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Partner with Marketing to maximize lead generation, conversion, and customer acquisition.

Channel & Dealer Management

  • Own strategy and performance of European distributors and channel partners.

  • Strengthen dealer relationships while holding partners accountable to clear performance expectations.

  • Assess opportunities to expand, optimize, or transition markets toward direct sales.

Key Accounts & Market Development

  • Lead regional strategy for key accounts, DSOs, institutions, and dental schools.

  • Build relationships with influential customers and industry stakeholders.

  • Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and EBS teams to drive alignment and execution.

  • Apply EBS principles to improve consistency, efficiency, and commercial execution.

Talent & Organizational Development

  • Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing European sales leadership team.

  • Ensure organizational structure and capabilities support growth objectives.
