EBS Superintendent

Job Description:

  • Align EBS Roadmap with Business Objectives. Collaborate with site leadership and the Plant Manager to define and maintain a clear EBS roadmap that supports Policy Deployment (PD), CVD, and KPI targets.
  • Ensure Alignment with EBSO Strategy. Coordinate with the Envista Business System Office (EBSO) to ensure local EBS efforts, training, and reporting align with corporate standards and priorities.
  • Lead the EBS Function Across Two Plants. Provide strategic and operational leadership to the EBS team, including two EBS Leaders and two Training Supervisors, ensuring alignment with site goals.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives. dentify, prioritize, and execute improvement opportunities using EBS tools and methodologies, with a focus on delivering measurable results in SQDCP metrics.
  • Advance EBS Capabilities and Sustainability. Continuously improve EBS maturity using the EBS Fundamentals, sustainability plans, and action tracking systems.
  • Champion a Culture of Continuous Improvement. Actively promote Lean thinking and EBS principles throughout both plants, encouraging innovation, ownership, and proactive problem-solving at all levels.
  • Develop and Manage CP Capability Across Mexicali Sites. Lead the development and performance of Certified Practitioners (CPs) in both Mexicali plants to support EBS execution and training efforts.
  • Promote Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work closely with Operations, Engineering,Quality, and other departments to integrate EBS practices into daily operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure Gemba Presence and Hands-On Leadership. Maintain a strong presence at the Gemba to observe, support, and guide teams in real-time problem-solving and performance improvement.
  • Support Crisis Response and Operational Recovery. Apply EBS tools and structured problem-solving during unplanned events or disruptions to restore operations efficiently and sustainably.
  • Coach and Develop Talent. Deliver formal and informal coaching in EBS Fundamentals to associates at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Oversee U-Man Training Program Execution. Supervise the Training Supervisors in each plant to ensure consistent implementation, tracking, and enhancement of the U-Man training program.
