Senior HR Generalist

Job Description:

Senior HR Generalist, under the lead of the Head of HR EU, will be responsible for implementing the global HR strategy in local organizations while ensuring alignment with business strategy in a changing environment.
They will be responsible for all facets of HR; transactional compensation & benefits processes, people life cycle management (incl. recruitment, performance, off-boarding), people development and employee relations.

Further, they will challenge and support the Local Business Leaders in organizational development and performance of the associates, acting as a support to HR Nobel Biocare / Envista NL & EU projects.

Job Requirements:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HR processes delivery and corresponding training of managers on those processes (Recruitment Processes, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Talent & Succession Management, etc.)

  • Take care of general correspondence and maintain employee records in Human Resources systems.

  • Prepare the monthly payroll, conducting the necessary processes for payment of the various components of salary in the Salary System.

  • Administration of sick leave reports and close follow up of reintegration in accordance with legal requirements.

  • Analyze data and prepare reports for management, to meet legal obligations, for external agencies and/or Daily Management purposes.

  • Process changes to the organization's human resource programs and policies in accordance with guidelines so that these programs are implemented accurately.

  • Proactive member in the Local Management Team.

  • Local enabler and sparring partner to the Venlo related Business Leaders, identifies the need for and influences management to make changes in organizational structure or processes.

  • Accomplishes results through alignment and cooperation with EU HR & Finance colleagues.

  • Maintains contacts with external sources to stay apprised of current trends and new legislative changes.

  • Leads various HR projects within the local organization.

  • With the support of Head of HR EU, manages complex employment relations issues.

  • In close cooperation with the local Management Teams, identifies needs and drives internal trainings and development programs and activities.

  • Coach line managers/supervisor and advise on people related issues – act as point of contact for enquiries.

  • Manage local and external stakeholders.

  • Administering HR-related invoices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree, preferably with a focus on HR.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant, broad HR experience

  • Fluency in Dutch and English.

  • In-depth knowledge related to legislation for sick leave, temporary employees.

  • MS Office (Word, Excel), Outlook

  • Payrolling System and a Time Registration System, Financial knowledge (reporting files, invoices, insurances, pension scheme etc.)

  • Workday knoweldge is advantageous.

  • Experience from successfully implementing global HR processes locally

  • Competence in recruiting employees at all levels

  • Knowledge and experience of all HR Lifecycle aspects.

  • Experience in an international (matrix) organization is an advantage.

  • Knowledge and experience with financial aspects (e.g. invoices and reporting)

  • Good communication skills.
