The Marketing Automation Specialist – Global is responsible for the execution, optimization, and ongoing management of Orascoptic’s marketing automation ecosystem, with a primary focus on HubSpot. This role ensures accurate, efficient, and scalable execution of marketing campaigns, lead nurturing programs, and customer communications across global markets.

This position serves as the subject matter expert in marketing automation, translating campaign strategies into high-quality execution while maintaining system integrity, data accuracy, and operational efficiency. The role is critical to enabling scalable lead generation and customer engagement, particularly as Orascoptic expands into new international markets.

The Marketing Automation Specialist partners closely with Growth & Performance, Brand & Campaigns, Digital Experience, and Regional Marketing to ensure campaigns are executed consistently, localized appropriately, and optimized for performance. This role plays a key part in supporting a data-driven, high-performing marketing organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Automation Execution & HubSpot Ownership
  • Owns day-to-day execution within HubSpot, including email builds, workflows, segmentation, and campaign setup
  • Builds, tests, and deploys global marketing campaigns, including email communications, workflow automation, and lead capture processes
  • Develops and maintains lead nurturing workflows aligned to customer segments and lifecycle stages
  • Executes multi-channel campaigns within HubSpot and integrated platforms, including email, SMS, and messaging channels (e.g., WhatsApp where applicable)
  • Ensures all campaigns are executed accurately, on schedule, and in alignment with approved campaign briefs

Workflow Development & Lead Management

  • Designs, implements, and optimizes automated workflows to support lead generation, nurturing, and conversion
  • Maintains and enhances lead routing, scoring, and lifecycle stage management processes
  • Ensures seamless integration and flow of leads between marketing automation and CRM systems
  • Identifies opportunities to improve conversion rates through automation and customer journey optimization

Global Campaign Execution & Localization Support

  • Executes campaigns across multiple regions, ensuring proper segmentation by market, language, and audience
  • Partners with Marketing Operations and localization vendors to implement translated and localized campaign assets
  • Ensures accurate deployment of campaigns across languages, regions, and currencies, as applicable
  • Maintains consistency, accuracy, and quality across all global campaign executions

System Integrity, QA & Optimization

  • Leads quality assurance processes for all marketing automation activities to ensure error-free execution
  • Maintains database hygiene, segmentation accuracy, and system organization within HubSpot
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to workflows, campaign execution, and email performance
  • Continuously identifies and implements improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and system performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partners with Growth & Performance Manager to support execution of demand generation campaigns and performance optimization
  • Collaborates with Brand & Campaign Manager to translate messaging strategies into effective campaign execution
  • Works with Digital Experience & Ecommerce Manager to ensure alignment between landing pages, forms, and conversion paths
  • Coordinates with Marketing Operations to ensure adherence to process standards, routing workflows, and localization requirements

Performance Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Supports campaign performance tracking by ensuring accurate tagging, tracking, and data flow
  • Identifies execution gaps or inconsistencies that may impact performance or reporting accuracy
  • Executes A/B testing initiatives within marketing automation platforms (ex. email, workflows, segmentation), ensuring accurate setup, deployment, and data capture
  • Continuously enhances automation capabilities to support business growth and operational efficiency

Job Requirements:

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred
    • 3–6+ years of experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or email marketing roles
    • Demonstrated hands-on experience with HubSpot (or similar platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, or Eloqua) required
    • Experience supporting global or multi-regional marketing initiatives preferred
    • Experience within dental, medical device, or healthcare industries is a plus

    • Advanced proficiency in marketing automation platforms, particularly HubSpot (workflows, email marketing, segmentation, and reporting)
    • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality assurance, and execution excellence
    • Solid understanding of lead lifecycle management, segmentation strategies, and customer journey mapping
    • Ability to translate campaign strategy into effective technical execution
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system and campaign issues
    • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email editing preferred
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and data integration (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional and global teams
    • Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and performance optimization
